North-Island update
A drive-by-shooting of a blog entry--the planting report from Holberg. The first week on the very northern tip of Vancouver Island, western side. Weather: think Slush Puppy, hold the syrup, thrown sideways into your face. Lost the shinpads on Day 2 and by Day 4 was feeling like an old biddy in need of a hip replacement. But for some reason at the end of the shift I found myself climbing into the truck with the usual stupid grin all over my face.
